TWELVElittle partners with The Maniac Foundation for a Charity Backpack Event

Back-to-school is a special time of year for kids, but for families that are financially strained or in need, it can be a more stressful time than anything.
TWELVElittle recently had the unique opportunity of sponsoring a Charity Backpack event, hosted by Indianapolis Colts All-Pro Linebacker, Darius Leonard, and The Maniac Foundation, which he and his wife established in 2020. The mission of his organization is to get involved in charity work and give back to Indianapolis and South Carolina communities.
Says Darius Leonard on his foundation website: “Indianapolis has been my home for the past three years – this community has given me so much and I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to give back... look forward to the impact we will be able to make in Indianapolis and my hometown, Lake View, SC.”
Their most recent backpack giveaway for local youth drew in about 150 kids from Kindergarten to First Grade—right in his hometown elementary school—to help prepare them for the upcoming school year.

We were so thrilled to be able to tangibly support Darius Leonard's vision of serving these families, by donating our 12little Kids Backpacks to this amazing cause and we will continue to give back where these kinds of opportunities align.
